CBSE Started Declaring Results for Board Examinations

CBSE has started declaring their results for CBSE Board 2009 Examination on 20th May Wednesday 2009. This time CBSE declared results for some regions and these are Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula and CBSE board results for others results are still pending and will be declared on 22nd May 2009 on Friday.

Apart form CBSE, The Indian school certificate examination council has also declared results for both the class Xth and XIIth today on Wednesday May 20th. Students are feeling relaxed for those the results have been declared and looking forward to know more about career opportunities and availability of courses after 12th class.
Students of 10th class will have to wait for almost one week for their cbse results 2009.

Hope you all would be very happy after your cbse board exams. Now its time for fun, but for those who wants to appear for IIT JEE exams, this is the time for extra hard work. IIT JEE is one of the toughest exams at 10+2 level. So all you have to practice hard. It is very difficult for students who have just given 12th cbse board exams to again practice for IIT JEE examination.

For those who are not preparing for these exams and yet not decided what to do or not? Most of students would be looking for B.A, B.Com and B.SC from regular colleges. In these days to get your desired subject in desired college is very hard. If you have scored above 90% marks in the board, then only you can think for a good college. Even in the third cut off list for most of the college demands more then 85 percentages.

What is the difference between a correspondence education and regular?

Course for both is same. In regular college you can take classes on regular basis but in case of correspondence it is not possible. In some jobs and courses, a bachelor degree from a regular college is required. It has also been noticed that students would be able to get good marks in regular colleges as compare to that of correspondence.

CBSE Previous Year Board Question Papers - How to solve them ?

It is very important to practice all kinds of sample papers if you have time like previous year sample papers , cbse last year solved and unsolved question papers but what the main thing preparation these CBSE previous year board papers. How to practice or solve that it the main thing? There are some tips, if you prepare in that way, you will definitely get something extra from it.

The first point is your course: Have you completed your CBSE NCERT course or not. Are you fully confident in math formulas? If not then preparing these sample papers will not give you as much benefit. Be confident, complete your NCERT books first then start preparing these CBSE sample papers.

Assessment Scheme Changes for Xth class

Important news for CBSE 10th class studnts for the academic sessoin of 2008-2009, as per the CBSE circular no 33/07 dated 24th july 2007 it has been stated that the CBSE board exams for 2009 for scocial science, Unit 5 on Disaster Management of class xth, will be evaluated though the projects. So in theory of social science no question will be asked from this unit.

So all the students have to complete the project work in Disaster Management. New marking scheme wille be provided to schools as per the new topics and themse for Social Science syllabus. Other cbse guidelines for the internal evaluation in this subject will be remain unchanged like, home tests, tests formative and summative.

There are some tips for the students how to deal with stress in your examinations days.

Students should make proper and realistic plans for their study it will also help students for high scoring.

Priorities and Difficulties: Students should mark and not down the priorities subjects and topics and the find out all the difficulties what you are facing and try to solve them first instead of starting new topics.

Atmosphere: for more concentration there should be a proper atmosphere in the home, it is recommended for quick and easy understanding.

Breaks: It is also recommended for the students to take breaks after regular intervals that keep you fresh and you also not feel bore.

TV and Entertainment: Its has been noticed that parents don’t let their students watching tv and other entertainment program. How to write neat and clean in your examination:

Its very important not to use any red and green pen or pencil. You can use black or blue or both pens in your examination. Now the point comes how to give a neat and clean look to your answer, write your all answers in blue pen for heading and to highlights main points you should use black pens. It provides a fine look to examiner. Clearly write the question number so that the examiners not feel any difficulty. Give sufficient space after each and every answer.

Mark pending question

If you are attempting a question but find difficulty in solving out, don’t devote much time. Move to next questions and leave space you think sufficient for that answer and also mark that question. After attempting all the questions move towards pending questions and try to solve them.

Don’t do that

It has been seen many times that the students from 6^th to 9^th class and also of 10^th class write complete question in the answer sheet instead of writing just question no. It takes time hence you will not be able to attempt all the questions. So don’t do that.

It also has been seen in 99% cases that students write full paragraph of fill in the blanks with the correct form of verb, modals, or any other fill in the blanks instead of just writing the correct option. You all students should not do that and just write the correct option. For example:

Q.1 Modals

Write the answer of this question in this way.

Ans. A. should

And not like that

Apply the same technique in all fill in the blank questions. It will save your time. You will be surprise to know that the topper of last year 10^th class English paper also opted this technique.

Don’t attend unseen passage first. It takes much time and makes your mind disturb and tense. You should attempt this section at last.

How to solve your Question paper and Tips to get good marks

Board exams decide your career and if you are able to get high marks in the board examination, you can choose your desired stream and career. So, it is very important to know how to solve a question paper so that you can get good marks. It should be very necessary to revise your all exercises with important tips and tricks to solve a question more quickly, and then only you can think for high marks.

Ensure that you have all your examination material along with you while leaving for exam. While in the examination, you must first focus on to leave your all stress which is the biggest problem and not let you do your examination properly. So try to leave all your tress. Read out the complete papers quickly and mark the question that you can solve confidently. Try to solve only those questions first in which you are more confident. If you start with a wrong questions then it can definitely disturb you mind and you may not be able to attend rest of your questions perfectly and more confidently. So chose the right question and start you paper. Don’t waste more time in any question if you find trouble to solve that, skip the question and leave the sufficient space to solve it later.

Try to solve you questions sequentially, for example if find Q5, Q10, Q12, Q15 and Q22 easy then solve them sequentially not like that Q12, Q5, Q22 and so on. Try to give all you answers neat and clean. Then move towards those questions which can solve and at last try those which you find typical.
